Michael A. Crane
Michael A. Crane is a South Dakota native. He has over thirty years experience in real estate finance and development. During his career he has worked for city government, a non-profit downtown revitalization organization, as a commercial banker and for a private development firm. Mr. Crane is currently Director of the Bender Property Assistance Group. The Bender Property Assistance Group is a professional team of real estate specialists that has been formed to provide assistance to financial institutions, government agencies, investors, developers and owners with troubled real estate assets. In addition to his role with the Bender Property Assistance Group, Mr. Crane is the owner of Crane and Fowler Investments, LLC. Crane and Fowler Investments specializes in the acquisition and rehabilitation of affordable housing for low and moderate income individuals and families. Mr. Crane is not currently a licensed broker with the South Dakota Real Estate Commission.
Mr. Crane is an active member of the local community. He is a past elected school board member and has served on the Public Parking Board, The Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, the Downtown Sioux Falls Development Committee and the Children's Inn board. He is currently serving as a member of the Southeast Technical institute Foundation, the City of Sioux Falls Park Board and the Communication Services for the Deaf Board of Directors.
Mr. Crane has a Master of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of South Dakota and is a Vietnam Veteran. |
