With over 20 years as a Realtor and auctioneer, he has guided literally thousands of clients safely through the adventure of buying or selling.

As an owner/broker at AMERI/STAR Real Estate, Jon has helped build a small business into a respected leader in its industry. He has helped build Sioux Falls also with long-term contributions to the Chamber of Commerce, Sioux Falls Midtown SERTOMA, Realtor Association of the Sioux Empire and more. As a graduate of the Missouri Auction School, Jon has been a professional auctioneer since 1985. Along with partner and father, Don Sweeter, he has conducted hundreds of successful auctions through Sweeter Auction & Real Estate. Jon has also devoted tireless hours to charity auctions for the March of Dimes, Boy Scouts, Teddy Bear Den, Festival of Trees, Children's Home Society, Ducks Unlimited, Wild Turkey Federation and many more.
