The Docks Industrial Park Groundbreaking

The Docks, a 52-acre master planned industrial park next to the I-90 and I-29 interchange in Sioux Falls, officially broke ground on Wednesday, October 12th. The Docks is a brand-new Class A Industrial Park that offers excellent transportation access for businesses that are looking for convenient and efficient distribution channels, as well as access to a highly skilled labor force. The Docks provides businesses with the opportunity to consolidate and expand operations in one accessible location. This industrial park will consist of three buildings and up to 544,540 SF of potential building space. The Docks is located just south of the Amazon distribution center, FedEx, Lineage Logistics, and Nordica.

“For years we have been talking about the need for someone to build something like this in our market. It is encouraging to see someone outside of our market take this step in providing a new product type our market hasn’t seen yet. We see a lot of build-to-suits, but we haven’t had much for speculative industrial construction within our market,” said Principal Rob Fagnan.

It wouldn’t be a South Dakota groundbreaking without some interesting weather. The sun was shining for a few minutes during the groundbreaking and right as things wrapped up a significant dust storm with rain and wind smothered everyone and their vehicles.  It was a day to remember…

Furthermore, Great Hall Properties, Bender Commercial, and Fagnan are proud to present The Docks Industrial Park.  For additional information, please contact Rob Fagnan at (605) 336-7600 or rob@benderco.com.
