Nick Gustafson is a commercial real estate broker and executive vice president at Bender Commercial. Nick’s experience working full-time in a commission-based job at Gateway Computers during college fostered his drive to match clients with solutions in fast-paced, high-stakes environments. Upon graduating from Augustana University in 2004, he became a leading tenant and buyer representative broker in the Sioux Falls market.
Nick joined Bender Commercial in 2009. His tenacity and commitment to commercial property sales and leasing resulted in a reputation of success and reliability. He earned the prestigious CCIM designation (Certified Commercial Investment Member) in 2014—a distinction held by fewer than 10% of commercial real estate brokers nationwide.
Nick became a principal of Bender Commercial in 2013. He became executive vice president and managing director, and the firm’s responsible broker, in 2021. His recent sales portfolio includes notable transactions: a $6,250,000 call center, a $6,000,000 multi-family property, a $3,200,000 industrial distribution center, and his collaborative role in co-brokering a $10,000,000+ multi-family portfolio with a national firm—all within the same calendar year—achievements that underscore his proficiency and attest to his dedication to pushing the boundaries of success.
