Doug Brockhouse was selected to serve as the SIOR Regional Director for the Central Region at the spring SIOR World Conference that was held in Orlando, Florida in April 2010.  The central region, which is made up of western Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, North and South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Colorado, Montana and Wyoming, is the largest region geographically for SIOR.  Doug will begin his term as the Regional Director during the SIOR Leadership Conference on October 20th in San Antonio, Texas.

As Regional Director, Doug's role will be to represent the membership of the central region on the Board of Directors.  Additionally, his responsibilities will be to provide leadership and guidance to the leaders of each chapter within the region.

Doug's term as Regional Director will be for two years followed by a two year term on the SIOR nominating committee.
